Dave is married to Mel, and together they have three daughters, Eleanor, Felicity, and Amelie.
Dave and Mel met whilst studying in Sydney, Australia, and got married in 2011. They spent fourteen years as part of a Free Methodist Church where Dave was an Elder and Executive Pastor before stepping out of that position in 2023.
Through a long and winding theological journey, Dave came to Reformed theological convictions and, seeing there was no Presbyterian church in Preston, decided, along with a small group of people to plant Veritas.
